Fantastic reference! Infinitely useful, even to those of us not "professional" electricians.
Pros
Will give anyone enough understanding of the basics to handle most anything that comes up day-to-day.
Cons
Copper ethernet pages have a few errors and some info that's probably about a decade (if not more) out of date -- but it's not wrong (just no one uses that stuff anymore).

Excellent source of a variety of information, that is handy to have for non-professionals who don't do this kind of work every day for a living.
Pros
Compact size with well protected and sturdy pages that can stand up to dirt, smudges, and wear and tear from normal usage in the field or in the shop.
Cons
First thing I noticed was the error in the resistor color code example given on the back cover of the 1st USA edition. (Hence the value.... Tolerance shows +/- 5%, instead of +/- 10%)

Response from: Hi Impact Supplies
Hi WL, thank you for pointing that out. The summary of the resistor cited at the top right of the back cover says " Hence the value of the above resistor is 153x1 = 153ohm Tolerance +/-5%, tolerance should instead be 10%. All noted and change has been made. Thank you

This has already proven to be a useful resource for not only basic electrical work, but fundamentals of construction for electrical systems.
Pros
Well built, I'm not worried about keeping it clean or it tearing.

I can see myself using this reference quite a bit. Well worth the price I paid. And the mini voltmeter will be tucked away as a backup. Thanks!
Pros
Laminated pages, colors help keep things organized, contains up to date codes and standards.
Cons
Text may be a bit small for people who cant see well. The copy of the book I bought wasnt bound properly. I had to remove the binding and redo it. Not a big deal, only took 5 min.

This is a must for all sparkies, especially apprentices to have it nearby. I got given the engineers black book from an old friend and really like it, so I had a look online to see what else they had available and waited for the electrical edition to be released and bought it.
I liked it so much I bought the fasteners black book for myself and bought another copy of the electrical black book and sent it to my old mate! in return for what he 1st gave me.
I haven't spoken to him for a while, I hope he knows it was from me
Pros
It's easy to read/understand, has lots of information without going over the top e.g talking about the atoms and the molecular structure etc.), having the different sections make it good, the overall size is great, it's not like you have to carry a phone book around
Cons
I can't think of any or if I was to pick something minor probably about the sticky tabs, some can't be matched up with sections/chapters in the book or some sections/chapters don't have sticky tabs for them
