I grew up using uglies book in the field, once I found the black book it was a no brainer! It is a much better put together book with a lot more information and easier to find. Uglies book can be a little bit misleading and confusing especially the app! Recommend black book to electricians every time

Came with tabs to install, like having mini tabbed cade book in my hand.

Would like more content about wider topics, transistors, pcb design, etc that may be out of scope of NEC codes but useful for more and more electronics work.

I use other books on occasion out in the field, but this one hits all the marks normally. I do enjoy the pipe bending section. It really helps to show guys how to do the bending in a quick and easy way to understand

It's a surprising complete little book with all the info that a electrical Tradie or specially apprentices need to have with them.

I ordered this book to help me study for my elevator apprenticeship. It is a very well laid out and rugged little book. It has everything I need to study for my electrical classes.

Perfect size, nice paper stock, so much information and lays flat very nicely. Also has the resistor and capacitor color code chart on the back which is super nice.
